How I Raise My Vibes

I have recently been tagged to participate in this wonderful meme by Jacklyn Ker from Inspiring and Empowering Lives. This wonderful program is about writing 5 things that I do to raise my vibrations and it all started at Optimistlab.

Thanks to Jacklyn for tagging me and thus, having me involved in this circle.

5 Things I Do To Raise My Vibrations

1. Reading

One of the great way to boast up vibrations is through reading books. Books that I choose to pick up when I receive signal of down-ness are those by Deepak Chopra, Tony Robbins, Dr. Wayne Dyer or any other motivational stuffs that I could find on my book shelves. Beside books, surfing the net espcially to sites that inspire and motivate such as jacklynker.com and kl-masina.co.nz really can uplift my vibes. You can not effort not to visit to jacklynker.com as she inspires you a lot especially when you learn about her real life story. KL-Masina on the other hand inspires through her new age style of writings, get there and experience yourself.

2. Listening to music

For me, nothing is more relaxing and stress lessening than listening to classical music. I love Mozart and he is really a genius in changing my state and focus. Listening to Mozart is like recharging my vibe and thus bring it to a higher level (they call it the “Mozart Effect”). When the mind is following the flow of the music, it will no longer be in the state of down-ness. Well, any music will do but as for me Mozart is the choice. However, negative types of music- those that brings negative message will surely bring you even down, so choose wisely. (You can get lot more of information through Power vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior by David R. Hawkins)

3. Gratitude

Nothing is more powerful that the force of gratitude. Everytime we are grateful for something, we will be automatically being brought into a more resourceful state and thus, everything wouldn’t seem be lacking and believe me, your vibes too.

When we are not grateful, we are fearful; being fearful of what is not enough as the mind will focus on the scarcity and not the abundance. It definitely kills the positive emotion and making us not feeling good and thus, the vibes goes down else well.

4. Changing The State

Down-Vibes really has something to do with the way we use our body. And if I find that I’m not in the resourceful state of posture, I’ll change it. Just by changing the way I’m using my body, I could change my state and thus, upbringing my vibes. So the secret is to move around; have a dance, jump around like a silly boy or do some kick-boxing stuffs (I do it although I know absolutely nothing about it). Besides, by just bring up your shoulders and stand squarely will have a tremendous effect on your vibes.

5. Have a walk

Being stagnant in the same place for a long time really could de-charge vibes as when there is no energy in motions, the emotion will follow suit and there down it goes. So when that happens, I will have a walk around my neighbourhood and see some faces which I might know or might not know. It’s absolutely will brighten up my day and hence, my vibes goes up along with the walk.

Try it! Don’t confine yourself in a place for too long, it surely would kill your vibes!

Well, that’s my list in getting into higher vibes. Now I’m suppose to tag five bloggers which share the same mission; to inspire and empower. Want to join in this empowering lives mission?
